Day 1 International flights to Dubrovnik – Not included

Day 2  Dubrovnik  to Cavtat

Dobrodošli to Croatia! 

The ancient town of Cavtat is located in the region of Konavle, only 22 km from Dubrovnik. Located on a small peninsula embraced by two harbours, a waterfront promenade, many cafes and restaurants, pebbly beaches all topped with a rich cultural history. Without Cavtat there would be no Dubrovnik, as it was refugees from Epidaurum (the Roman incarnation of Cavtat) who established the city in 614. 

Day 3  Cavtat

Free day to explore in Cavat and enjoy the amazing clear turquoise waters and beaches.

Day 4  Dubrovnik / Cavtat

Overnight: Cavat – TBA Meals Included: B

Free day  – A tour of Dubrovnik, can easily be arranged for you.

Cycle & Sail Begins

Day 5   Trogir (Embarkation) + Rogoznica

Overnight: On board ~ Rogoznica Meals Included: B

This morning sail from Cavat to Split on your catamaran, where you will then be transferred to Trogir for your Sail and Cycle adventure. After settling in your yacht, cruise to Rogoznica, a village on a small island which is connected to the mainland by a dam. Enjoy your first dinner while you sail away.

Day 6  Rogoznica + Primošten + Šibenik + Skradin

Overnight: On board ~ Skradin Meals Included: B

Today begin your adventures as we cycle from Rogoznica to Primošten. From there the boat takes us to the city of Šibenik to the spot where the Krka River flows into the Adriatic Sea. After visiting the famous cathedral and the lovely old town we set off again. While cruising we pass the lower course of the Krka River following the river bend until we reach Skradin. Overnight in the village of Skradin.

Day 7   National Park of Krka + Šibenik + Vodice

Overnight: On board ~ Vodice Meals Included: B

The magnificent port of Skradin is today’s starting point for our excursion by boat. Later enjoy a hike through the most famous part of the Krka National Park with its unique waterfalls. In the early afternoon your boat will take you to the harbor of Vodice, a well-known holiday town on the Dalmatian mainland. Your day ends with another wonderful cycle through the countryside.

Day 8  Vodice + Island of Murter + Nature Park Telašćica 

Overnight: Island of Dugi Otok Meals Included: B

This morning we cycle from Vodice to Murter Island, connected to the mainland by the lift bridge at Tisno. Continue along the waterfront, passing two very old coastal villages, until reaching a small landing place from where the boat will take you on a cruise through the National Park Kornati, an archipelago in crystal clear water which is known for its rich aquatic realm. Our destination is the Nature Park Telašćica. In the evening a walk through the park leads you along the stunning cliffs of the island. The famous Silver Lake ~ known by movies of Winnetou is also located here. Overnight stay on the Island of Dugi Otok.

Day 9   Island of Dugi Otok + Zadar

After breakfast and a short crossing to Sali, today’s cycling tour leads us along a virtually traffic-free and panoramic road. As we continue cycling throughout the island you will be treated to countless unforgettable vistas of the islands in the deep blue sea. Meet the ship for a crossing to Zadar, which for centuries was the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia. Our guide takes us on an extensive walk through the lanes of the lively old centre. 3,000 years of history have left their imprint on the character of this town and there are many things to be admired: the mighty fortified walls with their bastions, the loggia but also the early Romanesque St. Donatus Basilica. Cycle: (approx. 16 mi. / 25 km)

Day 10   Islands of Ugljan and Pašman + Island of Zlarin

During breakfast this morning our boat crosses to the island of Ugljan at the channel of Zadar. Today we have a lot of time to explore both of the islands Ugljan and Pašman by bicycle which are connected by a bridge. Cycle along the East Coast, with beautiful views to the mainland and the ocean. Afterwards our boat cruises to the coral island of Zlarin.

Day 11   Island of Solta + Trogir

Overnight: On board Meals Included: B

In the morning our motor yacht takes us to the island of Šolta. Olive and fig trees and farmland surround the streets, the spicy smell of rosemary will follow us throughout the tour around the silent island until we reach the village Grohote. During mid day our last cruise takes us back to Trogir. Here we have enough time to visit the world cultural heritage old town. Enjoy your last evening with the crew and guides. Cycle: (approx. 9 mi./15 km)

Day 12   Plitvice Lakes National Park Croatia

Overnight: Plitvice Lakes Meals Included: B

After your farewells to new friends, board your private coach to the Plitvice Lakes National Park.

The beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage National Park lies in its sixteen interconnecting lakes and a series of waterfalls that vary in colour from emerald green to turquoise and deep blues.  The park covers a total area of 300 square kilometres ( 73,350 acres ), whilst the lakes join together over a distance of eight kilometres.

Day 13  Zagreb

Zagreb ~ An old city with a young spirit. Croatia’s northwestern capital is easily distinguished by its ancient architecture, vibrant culture, bizarre art, contemporary music, and delectable gastronomic experiences. Enjoy !

Day 14  International flight home

The end of another amazing experience.

Travel Facts:

Travel Visa –  Not required for Canadian passport holders

Vaccinations –  Recommended that all immunizations are up to date.  Please confirm with your local travel health clinic well in advance of departure.

Luggage Allowance –  Will depend on your chosen airline and class of service.  Please confirm with your airline. 

Climate –  Late Summer in Croatia:  Highs of 24°  /  lows of 15°

Important Notes

This is a quotation only and neither reservations for services nor hotel bookings have been made. Availability of all services is guaranteed upon confirmation of first deposit. Small deviations in the tour program are sometimes necessary, depending on weather, road conditions, flight schedules and hotel availability and the number of travelling participants. Therefore, quoted rates might change accordingly.

Applications and Confirmation: ALL TYW documents as: 1) Application, 2) signed waiver, and 3) Payment agreements, must be completed and handed in by the due date to ensure your place and confirmation.

All deposits are to be made to Travel Your World International Ltd. 

Late Payments: All payments 1 – 15 days past due will result in a 10% late payment penalty. All payments 16 – 29 days past due will result in a 15% late payment penalty. If the scheduled payment and penalty amount(s) are not received within 30 days from a scheduled payment date, TYW assumes the participant will not be travelling and refunds will be subject to Travel Your World’s cancellation policy. Should the participant still wish to travel on the tour, this must be communicated clearly in a written format to Travel Your World and the full outstanding amount(s) plus penalties must be paid within 24 hours of providing notice.
